Comparative adjectives can be used to compare people and things and show three degrees.

Adjectives can change and show the degree to which a certain quality is present. This change in form to show a difference is called comparison.

There are many different ways to form comparisons. This section introduced the basic concept of adding “-er” and “-est” to adjectives.
